If you remember my app review for Bang With Friends, you will recognize this app called Down. Down as in, down to have sex.

Shortly after the release of the app Bang with friends, the Apple store banned the App from the App Store. Android was the only place that aloud the app Bang with friends. So what does the company that brought the app Bang with Friends do? They make a few tweaks to their app to relaunch as quick as they can. Introducing Down.

Down is an IOS app that allows Facebook members to discreetly facilitate hook-ups from their smartphones. Yes I said hook ups! Absolutely ridiculous that an app such as this would be allowed. I have sent my concerned email again to apple affairs for removal due to pornographic innuendos of the app, and I suggest everyone express their opinions.

The new mobile apps work like the Web service and allows people to sign in with Facebook to pick a friend for a meeting for intercourse. Selections remain anonymous until two people pick each other. At that point, the parties receive e-mail notifications of their mutual desire.

On mobile, (free to download) “Down” users can select a new “Up for Hang” option to indicate that they might be open to a fully clothed gathering. This is where they tried to steer the dating side of the app in attempt to fight off the people accusing it of a solicitation app. I’m not falling for it. The other option to select is called “Down”. This alerts the parties they both are down to have sex with each other.

Like its sister app “Bang with friends” I say ban it! If you see your child with this on their device, take everything away from them! Dangerous in so many ways!

Chive is a social picture sharing app for all devices. This app was developed from its original website where people would share photos that are categorized. Chive wanted a more mobile friendly site for phones and tablets, so they developed the Chive app.

Chive is a free download with no inside app charges. There is small advertisements at the bottom of the screen but not many pop up ads. You will see video advertisements periodically while in the video section.

Chive allows users to upload pictures or short videos and categorize them in folders. Most are innocent photos and categories such as Funny Cat Pics, or Dogs are Crazy. When you open the folders, there are featured photos relating to the category. You can give the pictures or photos likes and also share them to your other social media apps such as Facebook, Twitter, etc. There is also a share to email where you can share the picture via email or even save the photo to your camera roll for saving onto your device for later sharing or viewing.

Most of these categories are safe, but the reason why this app got a Moderate and not a Low or Very Low rating was due to some folders having some sexually suggestive photos and categories such as Red heads, or Bathing Suit collections. There are no nude pictures allowed, but some seemed to get very close.

For example, at the bottom of the app there are 4 buttons to select. They are labeled. Latest (for the newest pictures shared), Shuffle (randomly shuffles through all the photos regardless of categories), Videos (section dedicated to all videos instead of only photos), Top Rated (this is a section of the top rated folders or categories).

The top rated section is what got me wondering who is mainly using this app and what most people are looking at. I will list the top 4 of the top rated section category titles. 4. Can a rush order be put on these mail order brides. 3. Get back in the game with sexy sport bras girls. 2. Believe in your selfie and number 1 top rated folder is called. From Asia with love. The top viewed folder is full of Asian decent women’s sexually suggestive photos not appropriate for children.

Get familiar with this app and how it is used before you allow your children to download this alone.
